  Welcome to the Mathews Democratic Committee home page.
This Committee operates under the following principles:

  to work toward a government at federal, state and local levels which will fairly represent the interests of the persons within Mathews;
  to support and foster public institutions, including the public schools, that improve the quality of life;            

  to encourage the participation of all Democrats, as well as all those who share our Democratic perspective in the political process.

The Committee's monthly meeting is the first Saturday of every month in the Historic Courthouse at 2:00 PM  unless otherwise posted. Democrats, friends, and members of the public are welcomed at all gatherings. Call Cynthis Burton at 804 725 9030 for information .
